After gaining my CERT HE qualification in make-up design from the prestigious Delamar Academy, I immediately went to work on the longest running BBC Drama ‘Silent Witness’. I continued working on Silent Witness for three consecutive series, in doing this I built upon my skillset obtained at Delamar. This is where I learnt to work at speed whilst maintaining amazing results. By working on main cast everyday I perfected my ability to work on all skin tones, types, age and genders.
Whilst I am forever grateful for the opportunities that working in TV provided, I had originally specialised in beauty, red-carpet and fashion makeup as that was where my passions lie. Therefore, I took a leap of faith and decided to embark upon my journey of testing. I've felt so fulfilled and met so many amazing new people along the way. Since taking this leap of faith I have noticed just how transferrable my skills and habits in TV makeup have been in the fashion industry, I believe this makes me a truly unique individual when working on Editorial or Commercial jobs.
The journey is far from over and I would love to hear from any like minded positive individuals who would love to work together whether it be an editorial or getting glammed up for the camera.
